Fathers upheld

June 15th, 2008 by thewordbird

Hapy Father’s Day to every Dad, Pere, Father and such out in the hockey world.

Without many of these fine outstanding individuals- the games we see on television, in neighborhood rinks, tournaments and the like just simply would not be possible. That said, maybe we should give Moms a hug again!

All these parents, uncles, aunts, coaches, officials, organizers, concessions attendants (many of them volunteers) are deserving of recognition and they are but a few of the wonderful people that help make up the fantastic mosiac that is our game. The intrinsic roles that they provide for each and every player and fan are extraordinary and I am honoured to know a great deal of them. I will spend countless days trying to meet and get to know the ins and outs and personalities of each in the coming years. Kudos.
