Canucks could certainly use him.

The most idiotic potential signing ever.

Sundin will be weighing the terms, value and definite precedence it sets for the Swedish, *Franchise* Captain with ‘no drink from the ultimate prize’ and burning skill.
The IIHF’s 100th year is being kicked off with tickets going on sale today. Rangers will faceoff against the Euro Champ, through qualifying from league play. Jaromir Jagr has been offered and NHL has a much bigger piece of the pie to think about once again. I think Mats understands that the move is not one to be paid little mind. Marcus and Daniel Alfredsson are probably very interested. Sidney 8.7

Your personal thoughts on the offer Robin?

I am of the camp that with Bernier, Kesler, Burrows, Krajicek, Edler, Wellwood and Raymond on this team, playing everday minutes - that Sundin would be a very valuable dressing room influence. Especially with Naslund (and Morrison) gone….
Understand how the chemistry would be effected. Mats would provide you with a calming authority and comfortably fit into the #1 pivot’s role with no feathers ruffled. Right now, the Sedins are being counted on too much and guys that perhaps should not be taking draws, are.
That said, I do not see it happening anyhow. But it is a brave and outstanding offer by Gillis. Sundin’s character is exemplary and he has not as of yet, diminished as a point producer. I personally believe that he decline. Well, he already has-politely, I guess.
